Blogs vs Wikis

MAJOR DIFFERENCES:
A Wiki is a collaborative website which can be directly edited by anyone with access to it. A blog is a personal website like a online journal, with new entries appearing in the order they are written. When deal with Wikis you'll usually get information from a group of people. When dealing with Blogs you'll get information from only one person.

IMPORTANCE OF CONVERGENCES
The use of multiple communication modes in a single network offers convenience and flexibility not possible with separate infrastructures.

BLOGS BEING USED AS COLLABORATION
The majority of high profile collaborative blogs are based around a single uniting theme, such as politics or technology.
